CCW Industry Association Webinar Nov 2024
Industry associations and organizations are well positioned to provide their employer members with additional value by coordinating work-based learning programs and other career connected learning opportunities for Washington’s young people. Such training can build sustainable and diverse talent pools for employers who need to fill high-demand or hard-to-fill roles, as well as support recruitment and culture building, all while reducing the lift for individual businesses by centralizing administration within associations. Along with providing their members with a valuable benefit, associations can leverage career connected learning to cultivate their future generations of members and leaders.
At this showcase event, we will:
- Celebrate the successes of and learn from two industry associations in our state – the Washington Bankers Association and the AGC Education Foundation – who are leading in tapping into the future talent of Washington’s young people. Both are sector leaders for Career Connect Washington.
- Learn more about the decades of successful labor/employer partnership through registered apprenticeship and how industry associations can learn from this model to build and administer career connected learning programming.
