In response to the interest from our industry and regional partners, the Washington State Employment Security Department (ESD), on behalf of Career Connect Washington, has opened a new Career Connect Washington Sector Intermediaries RFP. This RFP is seeking proposals from highly qualified entities capable of serving as the CCW Sector Intermediary in each of the following sectors:

  • Agriculture;
  • Education; and
  • Life Sciences.

Proposals are due August 5th, 2022, at 11:59 PM Pacific Time. The RFP can be accessed via the Washington Electronic Business Solutions (WEBS) system (RFP #2022-18). A copy of the RFP is attached, for reference only. Bidders are responsible for downloading the solicitation document and all appendices and incorporated documents. Questions are due to Procurement Coordinator Greg Grahn (gregory.grahn@esd.wa.gov) by July 15, 2022. ESD responses to bidder questions will be posted on July 18, 2022 via WEBS.

There will not be a bidders’ conference for this RFP. However, ESD held a similar bidders’ conference (for a prior RFP on Sector Intermediary work) and that bidders’ conference deck and meeting recording are viewable using the following links:

Career Connect Washington partners and stakeholders are encouraged to share this RFP announcement broadly, to any and all potential bidders.

With the leadership and support of the Governor and the legislature, Career Connect Washington brings together a broad coalition — including employers, labor leaders, educators from K-12 through four-year colleges, and workforce development organizations — each committed to the success of every student. Thank you, again, for sharing this commitment.
